Research Interests

Prof. Argirusis' research focuses on:

  • transport phenomena in condensed matter,
  • advanced ceramics production/characterization for use in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC),
  • nanomaterials production by electro-/sono-chemical methods and their application in heterogeneous catalysis,
  • electrophoretic deposition,
  • functional layers and
  • oxidic protective layers development/application utilized as oxygen barriers for protection of C/C-SiC composites.
