Michail Vagenas received his BSc degree in Materials Science from University of Patras and his MSc in Materials Science and Technology from National Technical University of Athens. During his MSc Thesis he joined the Clausthal Centre for Material Technology, in Germany, as a visiting student. He is now a Ph.D. candidate under Prof. Ch.Argirusis (LIMT/NTUA) and Dr. Ch.Trapalis (INN, NCSR Demokritos) co-supervision. His current research is focused on functional carbon-based materials and polymer nanocomposite synthesis, investigation of their functional properties and exploration of their potential for energy conversion and storage applications.
